Must universities disclose additional conditions for admission consideration?
According to Clause 6, Article 1 of Circular 02/2019/TT-BGDDT, it is stipulated:
Before candidates proceed with the application procedures, schools must publish necessary information on their electronic information portals for candidates to apply: school codes, program codes, admission quotas, selection combinations, score margin regulations between selection combinations, additional conditions used in selection and other regulations not contrary to this Regulation; completely input all information about the school's admission procedures into the Admission Information Portal of the Ministry of Education and Training within the stipulated timeframe. The required admission score threshold can be specified after the results of the national high school examination are available and must conform to the quality assurance thresholds as per this Regulation; follow the selection procedure prescribed in Clause 5 of this Article.
=> Therefore, according to the above regulation, the additional conditions used in university selection must be publicly available on the Admission Information Portal of the Ministry of Education and Training.
