Midterm and Attendance Requirements for Eligibility to Take End-of-Course Examinations
According to Clause 1, Article 17 of the Regulations issued together with Circular 24/2019/TT-BGDDT, it is stipulated:
Conditions for taking the end-of-course, module examination
Learners are eligible to take the end-of-course, module examination when they meet the following conditions:
- Attended at least 80% of the classroom study time, completed integrated lessons, practical lessons, internships, course/module requirements, and have sufficient scores on regular and periodic tests as stipulated in the course/module program;
- The average score of regular and periodic tests is not less than 4.0 on a 10-point scale;
- Learners with a disability certificate as per the regulations will have their eligibility for the examination prioritized by the head of the teacher training institution, based on ensuring the average score of their tests is met.
=> Therefore, according to the above regulations, the law does not specify the exact scores for attendance and mid-terms required to take the end-of-module examination. However, to be eligible to take the end-of-module examination, the average score of regular and periodic tests must not be lower than 4.0 on a 10-point scale.
Respectfully.
