Mathematics 4.7, Literature 6.3 – Are These Grades Considered Average Student Status?
Based on Clause 3, Article 13 of the Regulations on Assessment and Classification of Lower Secondary School Students and Upper Secondary School Students issued together with Circular 58/2011/TT-BGDDT and Clause 6, Article 2 of Circular 26/2020/TT-BGDDT stipulating the conditions for average academic classification as follows:
Average classification, if meeting all the following criteria:
a) The average score of all subjects is 5.0 or higher, in which the average score of one of the three subjects Mathematics, Literature, or Foreign Language is 5.0 or higher; specifically, for specialized class students of specialized high schools, the additional condition is that the average score of the specialized subject is 5.0 or higher;
b) No subject average score is below 3.5;
c) All subjects evaluated by comments are rated D.
Therefore, all conditions for an average classification are as follows: The average score of all subjects is 5.0 or higher. The average score in Mathematics, Literature, or Foreign Language only needs one subject to be 5.0 or higher. No subject has a score below 3.5, and other subjects evaluated must be rated D. Comparing your case, you meet the criteria for an average academic classification. The Literature score does not need to be above 6.5.
Sincerely!
