Master's Thesis: What is it?

According to Clause 2, Article 8 of the Regulations on Enrollment and Training at the Master's Level issued together with Circular 23/2021/TT-BGDDT (effective from October 15, 2021), the guidelines on dissertations are stipulated as follows:

A dissertation is a scientific report that aggregates the main research results of the student, meeting the following requirements:

a) It must contribute to theoretical or academic knowledge, technological development, or innovative creation; demonstrating the research capability of the student;

b) It must be in accordance with the cultural, ethical standards, and traditional customs of the Vietnamese people;

c) It must comply with the training institution's regulations on academic integrity and the current legal regulations on intellectual property.
