Job Application Document: Is a University Transcript Required?

According to Clause 2, Article 7 of Decree 03/2014/ND-CP, the application dossier for labor recruitment of workers includes the following documents:

- Labor recruitment application form as prescribed by the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs;

- Copies of diplomas, certificates proving technical and professional qualifications; foreign language and informatics proficiency according to the requirements of the position to be recruited;

- Health certificate as prescribed by the Ministry of Health;

- Other necessary documents as prescribed by law.

Accordingly, the academic transcript is not a mandatory document in the job application dossier. However, based on the nature and position of the job, the recruiting unit can fully require applicants to submit their university transcripts.
