Is the Technology Subject Mandatory for End-of-Term Assessment for Primary School Students?
At Point b, Article 7 of Circular 27/2020/TT-BGDDT (Effective from October 20, 2020) stipulates as follows:
At the end of the first semester and the end of the school year, for the mandatory subjects: Vietnamese, Mathematics, Foreign Language 1, History and Geography, Science, Informatics, and Technology there will be periodic tests;
For grades 4 and 5, there are additional periodic tests in Vietnamese and Mathematics in the middle of the first and second semesters.
Thus, according to the new regulations, Technology is a mandatory subject for elementary students to take final exams.
