Is the Content on the Graduate Certificate Copy Issued from the Original Register Different from the Original?
According to Clause 3, Article 31 of the regulation promulgated in conjunction with Circular 21/2019/TT-BGDDT, it is stipulated:
- The competent authority for issuing copies of diplomas and certificates shall base on the original records of the issued diplomas and certificates to issue copies for the requester; the content of the copy must be recorded exactly as in the original records.
- In cases where the original records are no longer available or the original records do not contain information about the requested content for the copy or the copy is not issued to the requester, the agency receiving the request for the copy is responsible for providing a written reply to the requester, clearly stating the reasons within the time frame specified in point b, clause 2 of this Article.
=> Thus, according to the above regulation, the copy of the graduation certificate issued from the original records is similar to the content of the original that was previously issued.
