Is Drawing Circles with a Pencil Allowed in the High School Graduation Exam?
Point e Clause 4 Article 14 of the High School Graduation Examination Regulations issued together with Circular 15/2020/TT-BGDDT (currently in effect, effective from June 25, 2020) stipulates:
No marking or separate symbols are allowed, no writing in pencil except for shading boxes on the Answer Sheet; only writing in one color ink is permitted (red ink is not allowed).
Previously, Point d Clause 4 Article 14 of the National High School Examination and High School Graduation Recognition Regulations issued together with Circular 04/2017/TT-BGDDT stipulated:
No marking or separate symbols are allowed, no writing in pencil except for drawing circles with a compass and shading boxes on the Answer Sheet; only writing in one color ink is permitted (red ink is not allowed).
Thus, from the time the Graduation Examination Regulations according to Circular 15 have come into effect, the use of pencils to draw circles with a compass is no longer permitted. Therefore, candidates are currently not allowed to use pencils to draw circles in the graduation exam.
Sincerely!
