Instructions for online university admission confirmation for the 2023-2024 school year in Vietnam

Parents/students can refer to instructions for confirming university admission for the 2023-2024 school year below:

Step 1: Access the Ministry of Education and Training's Information Portal website via the link: https://thisinh.thitotnghiepthpt.edu.vn

Step 2: Log in to the account you have been granted

Step 3: Select "Look up admission results" in the search section

Step 4: View admission results

For each registered candidate's wish, the result "Pass" or "Fail" will be displayed.

Prioritize the results of your wishes placed first.

If you pass the first option, you will score "pass" in 1st option and "fail" all the remaining options. If the 1st option is failed, the system will continue to consider the other options.

Step 5: Confirm admission

Select the school that you have passed => Select the "admission confirmation" box

Then, the system asks for confirmation again => Select Agree.

Step 6: Review the admission confirmation results

At the school and major that the candidate confirms admission to, the status "Enrolled" will be displayed.

When does online university admission confirmation in Vietnam end?

Pursuant to Section 4 of Official Dispatch 3996/BGDĐT-GDDH 2023 stipulating regulations on the time for admission confirmation and admission organization for candidates as follows:

Confirm admission and organize admission for candidates

- The educational facilities guide candidates to confirm admission and organizes admission for candidates within the specified time.

- All candidates must confirm admission online on the System, from August 22 to before 5:00 p.m. September 6, 2023.

- The training facilities cannot ask candidates to confirm their admission or enroll before August 22, 2023 and must not end their admission confirmation or end their enrollment before 5:00 p.m. on September 6, 2023 (including for joint training programs with foreign countries).

Thus, the online university admission confirmation will end before 5:00 p.m. on September 6, 2023.

What documents are included in the admission profile of successful candidates in Vietnam?

Basically, admission documents of successful candidates will have the following documents:

- Admission notice (original);

- High school transcript (notarized copy);

- Curriculum vitae;

- Temporary high school graduation certificate for candidates graduating in 2023, high school diploma (original and notarized copy) for candidates graduating before 2023;

- Identification citizen card/ID card (notarized);

- Youth union member book;

- Copy of birth certificate;

- Copy of birth certificate.

- Health check card issued by district clinic.

- 3x4 card photo (minimum 05 photos).

- Dossiers, certificates of incentives (in case of preferential treatment such as exemption or reduction, tuition fee).

- Copies of legal papers to confirm priority subjects (if any) (certified)

- Tuition and living expenses are according to the amount announced by the school.

8. Confirmation of admission:

- For successful candidates who are directly considered for admission according to the Regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, from July 5, 2023 to 17:00 on August 15, 2023, candidates can confirm their admission on the System (Candidates who have confirmed their admission will not be able to register for the next option, except in cases where the Rector/Director of the educational facilities allows not to enroll). In case the admission has not been determined, candidates can continue to register for options on the System or the National Public Service Portal like other candidates for the recruitment agencies to consider, if successful, the candidate will confirm their admission according to the regulations. general calendar.
