Inspection and Assessment of Academic Results for Students in the Distance Education Program at the University Level
The activities of examination and assessment of academic results for students enrolled in remote education programs at the university level are stipulated in Article 8 of Circular 39/2020/TT-BGDDT, specifically:
- Examination and assessment activities of academic results (including graduation ranking, graduation consideration and recognition, and diploma issuance) are designed and implemented to be consistent with the remote education format and comply with current regulations.
- The examination and assessment of academic results are designed to align with the achievement levels of the learning outcomes standards.
- Regulations on the examination and assessment of academic results (including time, methods, criteria, weights, feedback mechanisms, and related contents) are clear and publicly communicated to students.
- The methods of examination and assessment of academic results are diverse (in-person, online), ensuring validity and reliability; assessments are accurate, objective, and fair.
- Examination and assessment results are provided promptly to students to help improve their learning.
- A process for handling complaints regarding examination and assessment results is issued and made public to ensure easy access for students.
- An appropriate monitoring system is in place to track the progress, academic results, and study load of remote education students.
