How is the Ph.D. Training Program Regulated?
According to Article 2 of the Regulation on PhD Enrollment and Training, issued together with Circular 18/2021/TT-BGDDT (Effective from August 15, 2021), the training program is stipulated as follows:
The PhD training program is developed, reviewed, and promulgated by the training institution, meeting the requirements of the Vietnam National Qualifications Framework and the regulations on training program standards of the Ministry of Education and Training.
Scientific research is a primary and mandatory component of the PhD training program, detailed in the regulations of the training institution depending on the requirements of each specific field or training discipline. Research results are presented in the doctoral dissertation and related scientific publications of the doctoral candidate.
