How are candidates who do not use the direct admission right prioritized for admission to college level education?
According to Appendix 01 of Priority Policies issued together with Circular 05/2021/TT-BLDTBXH, it stipulates that:
Candidates not using the direct admission right are prioritized for admission to college-level education
a) For candidates who have won prizes in the national excellent student selection exam, national skills competitions, won prizes in national science and technology competitions, and have graduated from high school, the principals of the schools will consider and decide on admission;
b) Candidates who have won a silver or bronze medal in the national first-class championship held once a year and candidates recognized by the Sports Committee as first-class national athletes who have graduated from high school are prioritized for admission to college-level sports or corresponding sports programs at the schools;
c) Artistic talent candidates who have graduated from high school or graduated from the intermediate level of arts schools, having officially won prizes in national professional arts competitions in singing, dancing, and music are prioritized for admission to college-level education according to each school’s regulations;
Candidates who have won prizes in sports and artistic talent fields will have the preferential period calculated as no more than 4 years from the date of the entrance exam to the school.
d) Annually, candidates eligible for direct admission must submit an application for direct admission (direct admission application form, evidentiary documents for eligibility for direct admission), directly to the school they intend to apply for direct admission during the school's application acceptance period.
