Household Registration in Quang Tri: Eligibility for Admission to Army Officer School 2

Based on Clause 2, Article 1 of Circular 42/2017/TT-BQP, the Enrollment Areas for the Army Officer School 1 and Army Officer School 2 are stipulated as follows:

- Army Officer School 1: Select candidates from Quang Tri province and to the North;

- Army Officer School 2: Select candidates from Thua Thien Hue province and to the South;

- Candidates from Quang Tri and Thua Thien Hue provinces: Depending on their wishes, they are allowed to apply for admission to either Army Officer School 1 or Army Officer School 2;

- Candidates applying for Army Officer School 2 must have permanent residence in the southern provinces as stipulated in Clause 3 of this Article, and must have attended and graduated from high school in the southern provinces for at least one year in grade 12.

Thus, according to the above regulations, candidates from Quang Tri and Thua Thien Hue provinces are allowed to apply for admission to either Army Officer School 1 or Army Officer School 2. Therefore, in your case, since you have permanent residence in Quang Tri, you can choose either Army Officer School 1 or Army Officer School 2 according to your preference.
