HK1 ranked as "Kha", HK2 ranked as "Kha" but the whole year is ranked "Gioi", is it recognized as an excellent student?

Based on Clause 8, Article 1 of Circular 26/2020/TT-BGDDT (amending Article 18 of the Regulation on assessment and classification of lower secondary school students and upper secondary school students promulgated together with Circular 58/2011/TT-BGDDT) which stipulates the recognition of student titles as follows:

Recognizing the title of excellent student for a semester or the entire school year, if achieving good conduct and excellent academic performance.

Thus, if throughout the school year, good conduct and excellent academic performance are achieved, the title of excellent student will be recognized. The classification of good academic performance in both semesters does not affect the recognition of the student title for the entire school year if the stipulated conditions are still met.
