High School Graduation in 2019, Can You Take the University Entrance Exam in 2020?
According to Article 6 of the Regulation on regular university admissions; admissions to colleges in the group of teacher training disciplines in a regular system issued together with Circular 05/2017/TT-BGDDT and Clause 4, Article 1 of Circular 07/2018/TT-BGDDT stipulating the conditions for participation in regular university admissions, to be specific:
- Graduated from high school (either through formal education or continuing education) or graduated from intermediate level, collectively referred to as high school graduation;
Those who have graduated from the intermediate level but do not have a high school diploma must study and be recognized for completing the high school cultural subjects as prescribed.
- Have sufficient health to study as prescribed. For individuals with disabilities recognized by the Provincial People's Committee to be deformed, disabled, or impaired in self-reliance in daily activities and studies due to the effects of chemical agents who are the children of people exposed to chemical agents during resistance activities: the school principals will consider and decide on admission to suitable academic programs based on their health status.
- Be within the age range prescribed for schools or majors that have an age requirement.
- Meet all preliminary requirements if registering for admission (DKXT) or taking exams at schools that have preliminary regulations.
- Have permanent residence in the designated admission area, if registering for admission (DKXT) or taking exams at schools that have area-specific admission regulations.
- Soldiers; officers, non-commissioned officers, enlisted soldiers currently serving in the People's Public Security can only apply for admission to schools designated by the Ministry of Defense or Ministry of Public Security once authorized by the competent authority to attend school; soldiers nearing the end of their military service, if permitted by the regiment-level leader or higher, can apply according to their personal wishes and must enroll in the same year of admissions, with no deferrals to the following academic year.
Thus, if you meet the above conditions, you will be eligible for university study.
