From October 15, 2021, are students majoring in Lao, Phong, etc., still eligible for tuition exemption?
Clause 10, Article 7 of Decree 86/2015/ND-CP previously stipulated that students, trainees, and research students in the fields of: Tuberculosis, Leprosy, Psychiatry, Forensic Medicine, Forensic Psychiatry, and Pathology would be exempt from tuition fees.
Clause 14, Article 15 of Decree 81/2021/ND-CP, effective from October 15, 2021, replacing Decree 86, stipulates one of the subjects exempt from tuition fees, which includes:
Students, undergraduates, graduate students, and research students studying one of the fields of Tuberculosis, Leprosy, Psychiatry, Forensic Medicine, Forensic Psychiatry, and Pathology at public medical training institutions according to the State's commission quotas.
Thus, according to the new regulation, not all students, graduate students, and research students in the fields of Tuberculosis, Leprosy, Psychiatry, Forensic Medicine, Forensic Psychiatry, and Pathology will be exempt from tuition fees as under Decree 86 previously. The new regulation clearly states that these students are only exempt from tuition fees if they study at public medical training institutions according to the State's commission quotas.
Respectfully!
