Facilities and Amenities of the University Library

According to the provisions of Clause 3 Article 16 of Decree 93/2020/ND-CP (effective from October 5, 2020), the conditions regarding university library facilities and amenities must ensure the following requirements:

- Located centrally within the educational institution, convenient for users, especially for those with disabilities;

- Sufficient area to store information resources, service areas, working areas for library staff, and other necessary operational needs;

- Ensure reading space, including a general reading room and other reading rooms for library users with an area of at least 200 m²;

- Ensure information technology infrastructure, network connection equipment, security equipment, peripheral devices, auxiliary equipment, LAN, and WAN to meet the professional and operational requirements of library staff and serve library users, implement library interconnection, organize online services and related services;

- Ensure specialized equipment and means for preserving information resources, security, safety, and fire prevention and control.
