Does the Child of a Wounded Soldier Receive a Tuition Fee Exemption?
According to Clause 1, Article 15 of Decree 81/2021/ND-CP (Effective from October 15, 2021), regulations on subjects eligible for tuition exemption include:
Individuals as stipulated in the Ordinance on Preferential Treatment for People with Meritorious Services to the Revolution if they are studying at educational institutions within the national education system.
Also, according to Article 3 of the 2020 Ordinance on Preferential Treatment for People with Meritorious Services to the Revolution, the relatives of people with meritorious services to the revolution (wounded soldiers) include biological children. Therefore, the children of wounded soldiers are subjects entitled to the preferential treatment policies for people with meritorious services to the revolution according to this Ordinance.
Thus, the children of wounded soldiers will also be eligible for tuition exemption if they are studying at educational institutions within the national education system.
Sincerely!
