Pursuant to Article 26 of the Charter of Preschools issued together with the Circular 52/2020/TT-BGDĐT stipulating teachers and staff as follows:
Teachers shall perform the tasks of nurturing, caring, and educating children.
Staff shall perform the tasks of assisting and serving the work of nurturing, caring, and educating children.
Pursuant to Article 30 of the Charter of Preschools issued together with the Circular 52/2020/TT-BGDĐT stipulating the standard level for training and profession standard of teachers and staff as follows:
1. Teachers’ standard level for training is the college diploma of preschool pedagogy. Every year, teachers shall conduct self-evaluation and receive evaluations from the school according to the professional standard of teachers; such evaluations will be used as the basis to develop plans for study and advanced training to improve the professional capability of teachers.
2. Staff's standard level for training in educational institutions is in documents on professional title standards for each job position of the staff as per regulation.
According to the above regulations, the educational qualifications of preschool staff are stipulated in the documents of the professional title standards for each position.
If you plan to work as a preschool staff member, the educational qualifications will depend on your position. It is not mandatory to have a bachelor's degree in preschool education to be a preschool staff member.

What are the duties of preschool staff in Vietnam?
Pursuant to Article 28 of the Charter of Preschools issued together with the Circular 52/2020/TT-BGDĐT stipulating the duties of preschool staff in Vietnam as follows:
1. Perform assigned tasks according to plans and assignments of the principal.
2. Depending on the job position, the staff shall perform tasks in accordance with regulations on professional title standards of the current job position and comply with regulations of the school.
3. Ensure the safety of children in eating and daily activities at the school. Comply with regulations on food safety when making food for children and ensure that no food poisoning occurs to children.
4. Preserve the virtue, honor, and reputation of staff and the school; unite and help colleagues; perform etiquette principles of staff as per regulation.
5. Improve professional capability to improve the quality of children’s nurture, care, and education.
6. Perform regulations of the school and other regulations of the law.

What are rights of preschool staff in Vietnam?
Pursuant to Article 29 of the Charter of Preschools issued together with the Circular 52/2020/TT-BGDĐT stipulating the rights of preschool staff in Vietnam as follows:
1. To be respected; to have their dignity, honor, and body protected; to enjoy physical and spiritual benefits as per regulation.
2. To be autonomous in performing professional tasks with the assistance of divisions of specialities and the school; to be facilitated to perform tasks of nurturing, caring, and educating children.
3. To receive salary and allowance and other policies as per the law.
4. To be facilitated to study and attend advanced training to improve professional capability while receiving full salary, allowance according to the salary, and other policies as per regulation when appointed by competent authorities to study or attend advanced training.
5. To receive commendations and emulation titles and other noble titles as per regulation.
6. Other rights as per the law.
