Do Military Schools Have a Limit on the Number of Applicants?
According to Point e Clause 1 Article 9 of Circular 17/2016/TT-BQP, the Border Guard Academy is one of the institutions for military recruitment at the university level in the regular education system.
Furthermore, Article 11 of this Circular (amended by Clause 1 Article 1 of Circular 42/2017/TT-BQP) stipulates the recruitment subjects as follows:
Non-commissioned officers and soldiers currently serving in the military according to legal regulations on military service, having served for 12 months or more (as of April of the recruitment year); professional military personnel, workers, and public defense employees serving the Army for 12 months or more (as of September of the recruitment year).
Agencies and units organize preliminary selection, prepare preliminary selection dossiers for candidates who meet the standards, and send the dossiers to the schools and the Military Recruitment Board of the Ministry of Defense according to the correct procedures. In cases where units have many candidates registering for preliminary selection, the unit must choose a suitable number of candidates to attend the recruitment, ensuring sufficient personnel to carry out tasks and readiness to fight.
- Male youth outside the Army (including demobilized military personnel), the number of candidates for recruitment is not limited.
Thus, based on the above regulations, the number of candidates for recruitment is not limited for male youth outside the Army (including demobilized military personnel). As for non-commissioned officers and soldiers currently serving, if there are many preliminary selection registrations, the unit will select suitable candidates to attend the recruitment.
Additionally, you can search on the website or contact the school directly for detailed support.
