Conditions for Transferring Elementary School Students
The procedures and processes for transferring primary school students are stipulated in Clause 2, Article 36 of the Regulations issued with Circular 28/2020/TT-BGDDT. Specifically:
- Parents or guardians of the student submit an application for school transfer to the receiving school either directly, via postal mail, or online through the Public Service Portal (if available).
- Within no more than 03 working days from the date of receipt of the application, the principal of the receiving school will provide an opinion agreeing to accept the student on the application. If there is no agreement, a clear reason must be provided on the application, and it will be returned to the parents or guardians in the manner it was originally received.
- Upon receiving the agreement from the receiving school, the parents or guardians of the student must submit the transfer application to the current school. Within no more than 03 working days from the date of receipt of the application, the principal of the current school is responsible for providing the student's records as stipulated in Clause 1 of this Article.
- Parents or guardians of the student must submit all documents stipulated in Clause 1 of this Article to the receiving school.
- Within no more than 03 working days from the date of receipt of complete documents,
the principal of the receiving school organizes discussions, surveys, consultations, and placement of students into classes.
=> Thus, according to the stipulated regulations, once the receiving school agrees to accept the student who wishes to transfer, the transfer process will take place. This is the condition for transferring primary school students.
Respectfully.
