Class 11 students with good conduct: Are they eligible to apply for kindergarten?
According to Point a, Clause 2, Article 11 of the Regulation on Undergraduate Admission; Admission to College-level Preschool Education issued by Circular 09/2020/TT-BGDDT, the requirements for ensuring the quality of admission for preschool teacher training are as follows:
- Admission to the College-level field of Preschool Education based on the combination of high school subjects: Candidates must have at least a "Good" academic performance in the 12th grade or a high school graduation score of 6.5 or higher;
- Admission by examination to the College-level field of Preschool Education: Candidates must have at least an "Average" academic performance in the 12th grade or a high school graduation score of 5.5 or higher;
Furthermore, in Article 5 of the Regulation on Undergraduate Admission; Admission to College-level Preschool Education issued by Circular 09/2020/TT-BGDDT, the conditions for applying to preschool education fields do not include conduct conditions.
If the 12th-grade conduct evaluation is "Average" or above, and the academic performance is not rated as "Poor," the candidate will not meet the requirements for high school graduation and will not be eligible for university admission or consideration.
Thus, if you received a "Good" conduct evaluation in the 11th grade, you can take the exam or apply for enrollment in preschool education fields if the aforementioned conditions are met.
Best regards!
