Cases in which students will have their classification downgraded on their diploma upon graduation
According to Clause 3, Article 14 of the Regulations issued with Circular 08/2021/TT-BGDDT, it is stipulated:
The graduation classification is determined based on the cumulative average score for the entire course as specified in Clause 5, Article 10 of these Regulations. In particular, the graduation classification of students with an excellent or good cumulative average score will be reduced by one level if they fall into any of the following cases:
a) The volume of retaken courses exceeds 5% of the total number of credits required for the entire program;
b) The student has been disciplined at the level of warning or higher during the study period.
=> Therefore, university students classified as excellent or good for graduation will only be downgraded by one level in cases where the volume of retaken courses exceeds 5% of the total number of credits and in cases of discipline from the warning level or higher.
Respectfully.
