Can students who tested positive for COVID-19 and were admitted to university enroll late?
According to Clause 3, Article 20 of the Admission Regulations for University degrees and College admissions in Early Childhood Education, issued together with Circular 09/2020/TT-BGDDT, the regulation on university enrollment is as follows:
- If there is no legitimate reason, it will be considered as abandonment of studies;
- If delayed due to illness, accidents, with certification from district-level hospitals or higher, or due to natural disasters with certification from the District People's Committees or higher, schools will consider and decide on the admittance or deferment of admission results for the candidate to enroll later.
Thus, individuals who test positive for COVID-19 will have their admission results deferred, allowing them to enroll after obtaining certification from district-level hospitals or higher.
Sincerely!
