Can students who received academic warnings graduate on time?
According to Clause 1, Article 14 of the Undergraduate Training Regulation issued together with Circular 08/2021/TT-BGDDT, the regulations on graduation recognition and awarding of degrees are as follows:
A student is considered for and recognized for graduation when the following conditions are met:
- Accumulate sufficient courses, credits, and complete other mandatory contents as required by the training program, meeting the outcome standards of the training program;
- The cumulative grade point average (GPA) of the entire course must be average or above;
- At the time of graduation consideration, the student is not under criminal investigation or not undergoing disciplinary action at the level of suspension from studies.
Thus, if you meet all the above conditions, you will be considered and recognized for graduation. Whether you graduate on time or not will depend on whether you register at the time the school organizes the graduation consideration. Therefore, having previously received an academic warning will not affect timely graduation.
Sincerely!
