Can students who are undergoing summer training take part-time jobs?
Article 17 of the Regulation on Assessing and Classifying Junior High School and High School Students issued with Circular 58/2011/TT-BGDDT stipulates the conduct training during summer vacation as follows:
Students with an annual academic performance of average or higher but classified as having poor conduct for the whole school year must undergo additional conduct training during the summer vacation. The mode of training is determined by the principal.
The training tasks during the summer vacation are communicated to the family, local authorities, and social organizations of the commune-level town (referred to as commune level) where the student resides. At the end of the summer vacation, if the commune-level People's Committee recognizes the completion of the tasks, the homeroom teacher will recommend the principal classify the conduct again; if average or above, the student is allowed to move up a grade.
According to the above regulation, there is no prohibition on students taking on part-time jobs (if the job is suitable for the age group) during the summer training period. However, during the summer training period, you must complete the required tasks to be considered by the principal for conduct classification.
Therefore, for specific details on tasks and the summer training schedule, you should contact the school to get detailed information and then arrange your part-time work accordingly.
Respectfully!
