Can a Middle School Student with Average Academic Performance and Poor Conduct Be Promoted?
Pursuant to the provisions of Article 15 of the Regulations on evaluation and classification of lower secondary and upper secondary students issued with Circular 58/2011/TT-BGDDT:
- Students who meet the following conditions shall be promoted to the next grade:
+ Conduct and academic performance must be at least average or higher;
+ Do not exceed 45 absences in a school year (whether with or without permission, in continuous or multiple instances).
According to this regulation, students must meet the criteria for conduct, academic performance, and the total number of absences in a year must not exceed 45 to be promoted to the next grade.
Therefore, in your case, although your academic performance is average, your conduct is weak, which does not meet the conditions for promotion to the next grade.
Sincerely!
