Awarded Third Prize in the Provincial Excellent Student Contest in 11th Grade, Am I Eligible for Additional Points When Taking the High School Graduation Exam?
In accordance with Point b, Clause 1, Article 40 of the Regulations issued together with Circular 15/2020/TT-BGDDT, which stipulates incentive points for individuals who win awards during their high school studies. To be specific:
"Article 40. Incentive Points
- Learners participating in the competitions and activities below are awarded incentive points for high school graduation consideration:
b)... For individual awards: first, second, third prize at the national level or first prize at the provincial level or Gold Medal will be awarded 2.0 points; national consolation prize or second prize at the provincial level or Silver Medal will be awarded 1.5 points; Bronze Medal will be awarded 1.0 point. For team awards: Only national awards are considered; the number of players, athletes, actors in team awards depends on the specific regulations of each competition's Organizing Committee; the incentive points awarded to individuals in team awards shall be in accordance with the individual awards specified in this point;"
In your case, winning the third prize in the provincial competition for excellent students in grade 11 does not qualify for this incentive.
Respectfully!
