Assessment of Academic Performance for Each Semester and the Entire School Year Regulations
The assessment of academic results in each semester and the entire academic year is regulated in Clause 2, Article 9, Circular 22/2021/TT-BGDDT. To be specific:
For subjects evaluated by comments combined with scores, the average subject score per semester (DTBmhk) is used to assess the academic results of students in each semester, and the average subject score for the entire academic year (DTBmcn) is used to assess the academic results of students for the entire year. The academic results of students in each semester and the entire academic year are assessed according to one of the four levels: Good, Fair, Satisfactory, Unsatisfactory.
a) Good Level:
- All subjects evaluated by comments are assessed at the Satisfactory level.
- All subjects evaluated by comments combined with scores have DTBmhk, DTBmcn of 6.5 points or higher, of which at least 06 subjects have DTBmhk, DTBmcn of 8.0 points or higher.
b) Fair Level:
- All subjects evaluated by comments are assessed at the Satisfactory level.
- All subjects evaluated by comments combined with scores have DTBmhk, DTBmcn of 5.0 points or higher, of which at least 06 subjects have DTBmhk, DTBmcn of 6.5 points or higher.
c) Satisfactory Level:
- There is at most one subject evaluated by comments assessed at the Unsatisfactory level.
- There are at least 06 subjects evaluated by comments combined with scores having DTBmhk, DTBmcn of 5.0 points or higher; no subject has DTBmhk, DTBmcn below 3.5 points.
d) Unsatisfactory Level: The remaining cases.
