Admission Year 2020: Is Reimbursing Tuition Required for Dropping Out?
Based on the provisions in Point c Clause 1 Article 6 of Decree 116/2020/ND-CP (Effective from November 15, 2020), in the case where pedagogy students voluntarily withdraw from their studies or do not complete their training programs, they must reimburse the funds provided for tuition and living expenses. (This regulation applies to pedagogy students who are admitted from the academic year 2021-2022 onwards).
Additionally, Article 14 of this Decree also stipulates:
Pedagogy students who have been admitted and trained from the academic year 2020-2021 and earlier shall continue to follow the provisions in Article 6 of Decree 86/2015/ND-CP on the tuition fee collection and management mechanism for educational institutions within the national education system and the tuition exemption, reduction policies, and study support from the academic year 2015-2016 to the academic year 2020-2021 until they graduate.
*** In the case of pedagogy students admitted in 2020, they are not subject to the tuition reimbursement provision.***
Sincerely!
