Based on Article 3 of Circular 14/2024/TT-BLDTBXH, the criteria for quality accreditation of intermediate schools and colleges are as follows:
Criterion 1 - Mission, Objectives, Organization, and Management
Criterion 2 - Training Activities
Criterion 3 - Teachers, Management Staff, Public Employees, and Workers
Criterion 4 - Training Programs and Curricula
Criterion 5 - Facilities and Training Equipment
Criterion 6 - Scientific Research and International Cooperation
Criterion 7 - Learners and Learner Support Activities
Criterion 8 - Quality Supervision and Evaluation
The evaluation score for each criterion that meets the requirement is 2 points, and the criterion that does not meet the requirement is 0 points. A criterion is deemed to meet the requirement based on whether the institution satisfies the standard for two years, including one year before the evaluation year and the evaluation year for intermediate schools; and three years, including two years before the evaluation year and the evaluation year for colleges.

What are standards for principals of intermidiate schools, colleges in Vietnam?
Based on Article 14 of the Vocational Education Law 2014, the standards for principals of intermediate schools and colleges are as follows:
Article 14. Principal of Intermediate and College Institutions
- The principal of an intermediate or college institution is the head of the school, represents the school legally, and is responsible for managing all school operations. The term of office for a principal is 5 years. A principal may be appointed and reappointed for no more than two consecutive terms.
The principal of a public intermediate or college institution is the account holder and is legally responsible for the entire management of the school's finances and assets.
- A principal of an intermediate or college institution must meet the following standards:
a) Possess good moral character and ethics, and have at least 5 years of experience in teaching or managing vocational education;
b) Hold a bachelor's degree or higher for a principal of an intermediate school; hold a master's degree or higher for a principal of a college;

- School council for public intermediate and college institutions; board of directors for private intermediate and college institutions
- Principal, vice-principals
- Specialized and professional departments or units
- Faculties and academic departments
- Advisory councils
- Branches; research and technology organizations; training service, scientific research, and application deployment organizations; production, business, and service facilities (if any).
