Title: Can an Enterprise Decide the Number of Its Own Seals?
According to Article 43 of the Enterprise Law 2020, it is stipulated:
- A seal includes a seal made at a seal engraving establishment or a seal in the form of a digital signature as prescribed by the law on electronic transactions.
- Enterprises decide the type of seal, quantity, form, and content of the seal of the enterprise, branches, representative offices, and other units of the enterprise.
- The management and retention of seals are carried out according to the provisions of the company's charter or regulations issued by the enterprise, branch, representative office, or other units of the enterprise with seals. Enterprises use seals in transactions prescribed by law.
=> Thus, according to the above regulations, enterprises can decide the number of seals of their units by themselves; the law does not stipulate a maximum quantity. However, in practice, to ensure good enterprise management, usually, each enterprise only uses one seal.
Respectfully.
