According to Clause 1, Article 7 of Decree 01/2021/ND-CP, there are regulations on recording business sectors and professions, as follows:

When registering the establishment of an enterprise, when notifying the addition or change of business sectors or professions, or when requesting the issuance of a new Enterprise Registration Certificate, the founder of the enterprise or the enterprise shall select the fourth-level economic sector code in the Vietnamese Economic Sector System to record the business sector or profession in the Application for Enterprise Registration, Notice of change of enterprise registration content, or application for the issuance of a new Enterprise Registration Certificate. The business registration agency shall guide, refer, and record the business sectors and professions of the enterprise into the National Database on Enterprise Registration.
