Is It Necessary for a Business Location to Maintain a Labor Management Register?
Clause 1, Article 3 of Decree 145/2020/ND-CP stipulates the labor management book as follows:
The establishment, updating, management, and use of the labor management book as outlined in Clause 1, Article 12 of the Labor Code are regulated as follows:
Within 30 days from the commencement date of operations, the employer must establish a labor management book at the location of the headquarters, branch, or representative office.
Thus, the employer is only required to establish a labor management book at the location of the headquarters, branch, or representative office. It is not required (not mandatory) at business locations. However, if the employer deems it necessary, they may establish a book to manage these locations.
