How much support allowance is received when reserving 01 month of unemployment insurance according to Decree 116?
According to Article 1 of Decision 28/2021/QD-TTg (guidance on Resolution 116/NQ-CP of 2021) stipulating the supported subjects, including:
(1) Employees currently participating in unemployment insurance as of September 30, 2021 (listed in the unemployment insurance participation list of the social insurance agency), excluding the following cases:
+ Employees currently working in state agencies, political organizations, socio-political organizations, people's armed forces units.
+ Employees currently working at public service providers with regular operating expenses ensured by the state budget as prescribed in Decree 60/2021/ND-CP dated June 21, 2021, of the Government of Vietnam stipulating the financial autonomy mechanism of public service providers and the current legal provisions on financial autonomy of public service providers.
(2) Employees who have stopped participating in unemployment insurance due to termination of labor contracts or working contracts during the period from January 1, 2020, to the end of September 30, 2021, with the period of unemployment insurance contributions reserved according to the provisions of the law on employment, excluding those who have a decision to receive monthly retirement pension.
Therefore, in your case, you stopped working in March 2020 and have a reserved period of 1 month of unemployment insurance contributions. Hence, you still meet the conditions to receive support according to Resolution 116, under subject (2).
The support amount you are eligible to receive is 1,800,000 VND (for contributions of less than 12 months). Note: You can only receive this support once.
