How Many Members Does a Medium-sized Cooperative Have?
According to Article 4 of Circular 01/2020/TT-BKHDT (Effective from April 1, 2020) stipulating the classification of cooperative scales based on the number of members as follows:
Based on the number of members, cooperatives are classified into:
- Micro-scale cooperative: a cooperative with fewer than 50 members;
- Small-scale cooperative: a cooperative with 50 to 300 members;
- Medium-scale cooperative: a cooperative with more than 300 to 1,000 members;
- Large-scale cooperative: a cooperative with over 1,000 members;
=> Therefore, according to the above stipulation, a medium-scale cooperative is a cooperative with more than 300 to 1,000 members. And your cooperative with approximately 500 members falls under the category of a medium-scale cooperative.
Sincerely!
