Do I have to get 05 years of experience to get a practice certificate of asset management officer in Vietnam? What are requirements for working as a asset management officer in Vietnam?
Hello, I am currently a law student about to graduate, my family has an acquaintance who is currently an asset management officer, I am very interested in this profession, I do not know the conditions to issue a practicing certificate of asset management? What are requirements for working as a asset management officer? Please advise.

Pursuant to Clause 1, Article 12 of the Bankruptcy Law 2014, requirements for working as a asset management officer are as follows:
1. The following individuals are eligible for being issued practice certificates of asset management officer:
a) A lawyer;
b) An auditor;
c) A person having a bachelor degree in law, economy, accountancy or bank and 05 years of experience or more in his/her field.
Thus, newly graduated Law students must have 5 years of working experience in the legal field to be eligible to be granted a practicing certificate of asset management in Vietnam.
What are requirements for working as a asset management officer in Vietnam?
According to Clause 2, Article 12 of the Bankruptcy Law 2014, it is prescribed as follows:
2. Requirements for working as a asset management officer:
a) Be capable of civil acts;
b) Have ethical qualities, sense of responsibility, integrity and objectivity;
c) Have practice certificate of asset management officer.
According to this Article, in addition to having a practicing certificate as an asset management officer. You also need to have capable of civil acts, ethical qualities, sense of responsibility, integrity and objectivity as prescribed in order to practice as an asset management officer in Vietnam.
