Change of Phone Number on Business Registration Certificate: Is Notification Required?
Based on the provisions of Clause 1, Article 15 of Circular 20/2015/TT-BKHDT:
Enterprises are responsible for updating and fully supplementing any missing information in the enterprise registration dossier when there is a change in the enterprise registration contents. This includes information such as telephone number, fax number, email address, and enterprise website. It is mandatory to provide the enterprise's telephone number in the enterprise registration dossier. If the enterprise does not supplement the telephone number information, the dossier for changing the enterprise registration contents is considered invalid.
*** In case your company changes the telephone number on the enterprise registration certificate, you must carry out the procedures to notify about the supplementation and updating of the enterprise registration information.***
The dossier includes:
Notification on the supplementation and updating of enterprise registration information (Appendix II-5 issued together with Circular 02/2019/TT-BKHDT) sent to the Business Registration Office under the Department of Planning and Investment where the company is headquartered.
In case the legal representative does not directly carry out this procedure and authorizes another person to do so, a written authorization is required (not mandatory to be notarized or authenticated). The authorized person, when submitting the dossier, must provide a valid copy of one of the following identification documents according to the provisions of Clause 2, Article 1 of Decree 108/2018/ND-CP and Article 10 of Decree 78/2015/ND-CP:
- For Vietnamese citizens: Citizen identification card, ID card, or valid Vietnamese passport.
- For foreigners: Foreign passport or a valid substitute document for a foreign passport.
Sincerely!
