Article 86 of Decree 01/2021/ND-CP on business registration stipulates:
Article 86. Business location of household business
The business location of a household business is the place where the household business conducts its business activities.
A household business may conduct business activities at multiple locations but must select one location to register as the headquarters of the household business and must notify the tax authority and the market management authority at the locations of the remaining business locations.
=> Thus, the current legal regulations do not recognize household businesses as being able to open multiple branches. Instead, household businesses are allowed to operate at multiple locations.
