Which Authority Decides on the Establishment of a Notary Office?
Based on Clause 1 and Clause 2, Article 19 of the Notarization Law 2014, the regulations on notary offices are as follows:
A notary office is established by decision of the Provincial People's Committee.
A notary office is a public service provider under the Department of Justice, with its own headquarters, seal, and separate account.
The legal representative of the notary office is the Head of the office. The Head of the notary office must be a notary, appointed, relieved from duty, or dismissed by the President of the Provincial People's Committee.
Thus, the notary office is established by decision of the Provincial People's Committee and has a legal representative as regulated above.
Sincerely!
