When will the completion of the notarial professional training course within the year be recognized?
According to Clause 2, Article 14 of Circular 01/2021/TT-BTP, the following notary public cases are recognized as having fulfilled their professional training obligations for that year:
- Having a research article on notary law and related legislation published in domestic or international legal journals; writing or participating in writing books and textbooks on notary law that have been published;
- Participating in teaching notary law at the Judicial Academy; delivering lectures in professional training courses organized by the organizations stipulated in Clause 1, Article 13 of this Circular;
- Participating in professional training courses on notary law abroad;
- Being a speaker in training programs, seminars, and discussions on the topics stipulated in Clause 1, Article 12 of this Circular organized by the Department of Judicial Assistance, the Department of Justice. In cases where a notary public is not a speaker but attends training programs, seminars, and discussions specified at point d of this clause, one day of attendance is equivalent to 8 hours of professional training, and two or more days of attendance are recognized as fulfilling the professional training obligations. The Department of Judicial Assistance, the Department of Justice issues a certification for the notary public, indicating the number of days attended.
