When Must a Notarial Practice Organization Open a Notary Book?
According to Clause 1, Article 25 of Circular 01/2021/TT-BTP guiding the Law on Notarization issued by the Ministry of Justice, it is stipulated:
The notarization book is used to monitor and manage notarization work at notarial practice organizations. The book is set up annually, with the opening day being January 01 and the closing day being December 31. The book must be numbered consecutively from page 01 to the end of the book; no lines or pages may be left blank, and it must be sealed in accordance with the law.
At the end of the year, the notarial practice organization must close the book and list the total number of notarized cases conducted during the year; the head of the notarial practice organization must confirm, sign, print their full name, and stamp the book.
The notarization book is set up according to a template, including the contract and transaction notarization book (Template TP-CC-27) and the translation notarization book (Template TP-CC-28).
=> Thus, according to the above regulation, the notarization book is opened annually. And at the beginning of each year, the notarial practice organization must open the book and close it on December 31 of that year.
Respectfully.
