3. To confirm in the trainee's internship diary; to provide comments and assessments on the internship in the trainee's internship report and to be responsible for the accuracy, honesty, and objectivity of the confirmation, comments, and assessments.

4. To perform other rights and duties as prescribed by law and this Circular.

Therefore, a notary practitioner who guides a trainee has the following rights and obligations:

- To guide the trainee in the contents of the internship as prescribed.

- To monitor and supervise the performance of the tasks assigned to the trainee by the notary practitioner; to be responsible for the results and progress of the tasks that the trainee performs under the assignment and guidance of the notary practitioner.

- To confirm in the trainee's internship diary.

- To provide comments and assessments on the internship in the trainee's internship report and to be responsible for the accuracy, honesty, and objectivity of the confirmation, comments, and assessments.

Based on Clause 2, Article 15 of Decree 82/2020/NĐ-CP, the penalties for violations of the regulations on notary practice are as follows:

2. A fine of between VND 3,000,000 and VND 7,000,000 shall be imposed for one of the following acts:

a) Notarizing outside the office of a notary practice in violation of regulations.

b) Notarizing outside the prescribed time limit.

c) Correcting technical errors in notarial documents in violation of regulations.

d) Harassing or creating difficulties for clients.

dd) Refusing to notarize a request without a legitimate reason.

e) Not using Vietnamese in speaking or writing.

g) Not participating in a social and professional organization of notaries.

h) Guiding more than two trainees at the same time.

i) Guiding a trainee when not qualified to do so.

k) Not fulfilling the obligations of a trainee guide as prescribed.

l) Notarizing a contract or transaction in the absence of a request for notarization.
