Rights and Obligations of the Notary Public Office towards the Translation Collaborator
According to Clause 2, Article 22 of Circular 01/2021/TT-BTP regulating translation collaborators of notary practice organizations, the following applies:
Rights and obligations of the notary practice organization:
- Sign a contract with translation collaborators, clearly specifying the responsibilities of the collaborators regarding the content, quality of the translation, remuneration, and the rights and obligations of the parties;
- Notify in writing the Department of Justice where the notary practice organization is registered of the list of translation collaborators no later than 5 working days from the date of signing the contract with the collaborator;
- Pay translation remuneration as agreed with the translation collaborator;
- Publicly post the list of translation collaborators at the organization's headquarters;
- Compensate for damages and require the translation collaborators to reimburse according to the provisions of Article 38 of the Notary Law;
- Other rights and obligations as agreed with the translation collaborator or according to the provisions of law.
