Preparation and Retention of Judicial Expertise Dossiers in the Field of Transport
Based on Clause 6, Article 10 of Circular 07/2021/TT-BGTVT (effective from June 1, 2021), the content is stipulated as follows:
- The forensic examination dossier, prepared by the person conducting the forensic examination, includes: The Decision to summon forensic examination and accompanying documents (if any); minutes of handing over and receiving the dossier, subject to forensic examination; document recording the process of conducting the forensic examination; forensic examination photographs (if any); previous forensic examination conclusions or results of forensic tests and experiments conducted by others (if any); forensic examination conclusion and other relevant documents related to the entire process of conducting forensic examination activities;
- The organization that is summoned and conducts forensic examination is responsible for the preservation and storage of the forensic examination dossier prepared by the forensic examiner under the organization, in accordance with the law on archives.
