Is a Master's Degree in Law without a Bachelor's Degree Eligible for Notary Public Training Classes?
Clause 1 Article 9 of the Law on Notarization 2014 stipulates vocational training for notaries as follows:
A person holding a bachelor's degree in law is eligible to attend a notary vocational training course at a notary vocational training institution.
Here, a person holding a bachelor's degree in law must be understood as a person holding at least a bachelor's degree in law, not necessarily limited to a bachelor's degree. In reality, when enrolling for this training course, the admission criteria are specified as holding a bachelor's degree or a higher degree in law.
Therefore, in this case, even if you do not have a bachelor's degree in law but hold a master's degree in law, you are still eligible to attend the notary vocational training course.
Sincerely!
