Does the Notarized Book Require a Consecutive Seal?
According to Clause 1, Article 25 of Circular 01/2021/TT-BTP regulating notary books and notary serial numbers:
The notary book is used to monitor and manage notarial activities at notarial practice organizations. The book is created annually; the opening date of the book is January 01, and the closing date is December 31. The book must be paginated sequentially from 01 to the end, without leaving any lines or pages blank. It must be sealed according to the law.
At the end of the year, the notarial practice organization must close the book and tally the total number of notarial acts performed during the year; the head of the notarial practice organization shall confirm, sign, write their full name, and affix the stamp on the book.
The notary book is created according to the templates, including the notary book for contracts and transactions (Form TP-CC-27) and the notary book for translations (Form TP-CC-28).
Thus, the notary book must be paginated sequentially from 01 to the end, without leaving any lines or pages blank, and must be sealed as required by law.
Respectfully!
