Authenticated Copy of Household Registration Book: Is It Valid for Certification?
According to Article 18 of Decree 23/2015/ND-CP on documents and papers that serve as the basis for certifying copies from originals, they include:
- The original documents and papers issued by competent authorities or organizations.
- The original documents and papers created by individuals with confirmation and stamp from competent authorities or organizations.
Thus, based on the above regulation, only the original household registration book can serve as the basis for certification. A certified copy of the household registration book from the original cannot be used as a basis in the same way as the original.
