Under Clause 1 Article 12 of Decree 08/2020/ND-CP, the temporary suspension of bailiff's profession is regulated as follows:

Temporary Suspension of bailiff's Profession

1. The Department of Justice where bailiff practices their profession shall decide on the temporary suspension of bailiff's profession in the following cases:

a) Bailiff is being prosecuted for criminal liability.

b) Bailiff is subject to administrative penalties or administrative sanctions.

2. The duration of the temporary suspension of bailiff's profession shall not exceed 12 months.

3. The Department of Justice may cancel the decision on the temporary suspension of bailiff's profession before the expiration date in the following cases:

a) There is a decision to suspend the investigation or suspend the case, or a valid court verdict stating that bailiff is not guilty.

b) Bailiff is no longer subject to administrative penalties or administrative sanctions.

- Bailiff is being prosecuted for criminal liability.

What documents are required for the application to the 9th training class for bailiff vocational training in 2024 at the Judicial Academy in Vietnam?

In Section 6 of Announcement 1056/TB-HVTP 2024, the required documents for the application to the 9th training class for bailiff vocational training in 2024 at the Judicial Academy in Vietnam are as follows:

- 02 Curriculum vitae (according to the template provided by the Judicial Academy) with confirmation from the People's Committee at the commune level or notarized by a public notary office (original copies).

- 02 Application forms with attached photos (according to the template provided by the Judicial Academy) indicating the candidate's email address/phone number (original copies).

- 02 certified copies of Bachelor's degree or higher in law. For foreign degrees, a certification from the Quality Management Department of the Ministry of Education and Training or a document specifying cases where the degree is not recognized is required.

- 04 passport-sized photos (with the candidate's full name, date of birth written on the back).

In Section 5 of Announcement 1056/TB-HVTP 2024, the tuition fee guidelines are provided as follows:

Service fees and tuition fees

5.2. Tuition fees: According to Decision No. 2237/QD-HVTP dated November 21, 2023, issued by the Director of the Judicial Academy. Specifically:

- The tuition fee is 16,000,000 VND per student per course (Sixteen million Vietnamese Dong). Annually, the tuition fee may be subject to an increase, and the rate of increase may vary according to the regulations of the law and the decision of the Director of the Judicial Academy.

- Candidates are eligible for exemption or reduction of tuition fees under the preferential policy and conditions specified in Article 2 of Decision No. 2237/QD-HVTP dated November 21, 2023, issued by the Director of the Judicial Academy regarding the Regulation on Tuition Fees for training programs based on the social demand of the Judicial Academy, held at its headquarters in Hanoi and its branch in Ho Chi Minh City, when:

+ Submitting complete documents for tuition fee reduction/exemption: (2 notarized copies or certified documents of birth certificate, certificates, veteran ID card, graduation certificate of the training program based on the social demand of the Judicial Academy).

+ Paying the full 100% tuition fee for the entire course (upon enrollment).

Therefore, the tuition fee for the 9th training class for bailiff vocational training in 2024 at the Judicial Academy is 16,000,000 VND per student per course.
