Which Projects Must Be Managed to Obtain a Project Management Certificate Class II?
Based on the provisions of Clause 13, Article 1 of Decree No. 100/2018/ND-CP (Amending and supplementing Clause 18, Article 1 of Decree No. 42/2017/ND-CP) stipulating the conditions for granting project management practice certificates as follows:
- Grade I: Have acted as a project management director for at least 01 project from Group A or 02 projects from Group B of the same type or higher; or possess one of three types of practice certificates (Grade I construction design; Grade I construction supervision; Grade I construction valuation) and have participated in managing at least 01 project from Group A or 02 projects from Group B of the same type or higher.
- Grade II: Have acted as a project management director for 01 project from Group B or 02 projects from Group C of the same type or higher, or possess one of three types of practice certificates (Grade II construction design; Grade II construction supervision; Grade II construction valuation) and have participated in managing at least 01 project from Group B or 02 projects from Group C or 03 projects requiring the preparation of economic-technical reports of the same type or higher.
- Grade III: Have participated in managing at least 01 project from Group C of the same type or higher.
According to the above regulations, if you want to be granted a Grade II project management practice certificate, you must:
- Have acted as a project management director for 01 project from Group B;
- Or have acted as a project management director for 02 projects from Group C of the same type or higher;
- Or possess one of three types of practice certificates (Grade II construction design; Grade II construction supervision; Grade II construction valuation) and have participated in managing at least 01 project from Group B or 02 projects from Group C or 03 projects requiring the preparation of economic-technical reports of the same type or higher.
